Your chance to do the "Seldom Seen" paddle!

This trip begins just like previous years' popular Bay Minette paddles, but with a very interesting twist. Last year's storms plus this winter's weather plus the tides and are all going to conspire to open up a trip that doesn't come along very often.
Paddlers will enjoy small, winding bayous, a new eagle's nest almost right on the trail, and the great new Yancey Bay camping platform.  The show begins at Busbee's Fish Camp (use our address, not Google's directions, or you'll end up at the wrong place) and ends there as well--the Seldom Seen route is a loop. No backtracking! No shuttle! The afternoons tides will provide enough water that the trip can be done. Earlier departures won't work, hence the afternoon departure.
Gather at Buzbee Fish Camp, about a mile north of the Highway 98/Highway 31 intersection in Spanish Fort on Highway 225 after lunch on Saturday. Plenty of camping and motels are nearby, as are restaurants and grocery stores. Buzbee Fish Camp turnoff is at the Mile 2 marker on Highway 225. The street address is 32500 Highway 225, Spanish Fort Alabama.
